If you are paying to store your items in a secure facility, then obviously they have value to you. Items of value should always be insured.

Any type of peril that could happen to your items while they are stored on your own property, can also happen to them while being stored in our facility. Because of this, we encourage our clients to make sure that the contents of their storage units are covered by adequate insurance.

Since Rolly's Transfer does not know the contents, or the value of the contents stored within the facility, it isn't feasible for us to provide insurance coverage for our client's stored contents. It remains the client's responsibility to obtain that insurance coverage.

Most homeowner policies won't cover items stored off-site, or have a limited coverage amount. Check the details of your policy to verify if you have coverage or not. If you would like to save the hassle of adding onto an existing policy, however, we offer affordable insurance policies that you can purchase specifically to cover the contents in your storage units. Just another way we try to keep the process stress free.
